A vacancy has arisen for a Band 5 Biomedical Scientist in the Haematology & Blood Transfusion Laboratory at Hull Royal Infirmary. Applicants who have successfully completed an IBMS Specialist Portfolio will be employed on the appropriate AfC Band 6 rate if successful. Applications will also be considered from applicants with an IBMS accredited degree and intention to complete the HCPC registration portfolio.
The successful candidate will regularly rotate through all sections of the Haematology & Blood Transfusion department and will be required to participate in the 24/7 shift system.
In addition, as an IBMS approved training laboratory we encourage and support all Band 5 staff to obtain the IBMS Specialist Diploma in Biomedical Science.
