We are based at Woodlands Day Nursery based at Frimley Park Hospital in Camberley, Surrey and our Nursery provides highest quality care and education to children age between 3 months and 5 years.
Main duties of the job
- Be responsible to the Nursery Manager for the delivery of full day care to children under 5 years, in accordance with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (2021).
- Be responsible to the Room Lead for ensuring the delivery of practices that support children’s progress, as outlined within the Early Years Outcomes, non-statutory guidance 2021.
- Contribute to cohesive team working practices, including key person system; identification, planning and implementation of own continued professional development (CPD); opportunities to further strengthen effective provision benefiting children and families.
- Be responsible for monitoring the Health and safety requirements in the Nursery, ensuring that processes are documented and assessed, risk assessments are completed and that the Nursery is compliant.

- Using knowledge and understanding of child development theories, progressive learning, and best working practices, contribute to and deliver individualised care and learning to children under five years within statutory and guiding principles described in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Experience in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage for children from birth to five.
- Level 3 qualified or committed to completing
- Collaborate with room lead and colleagues to ensure the environment reflects appropriate challenge and risk; age and stage appropriate resources; learning opportunities are differentiated to take account of age, stage, and individual ability
