Band 3 - £28,011 - £30,230 pro rata
Plus £1,406 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata
(Shifts include 7.00am -2.00pm & 12.30pm-7.30pm)

An opportunity has arisen for a Bank Chef/Cook to join our existing team. Duties will include producing and serving of high-quality meals for patients, staff and external customers. You will also be required to interpret and manage all operational aspects of the kitchen and associated areas inc. Deliveries / preparation / storage rooms, wash up, including supervision of staff working in these areas.
Preferred experience within a commercial/industrial background would be an advantage but not necessary. You would be expected to have comprehensive knowledge of food hygiene & H.A.C.C.P. regulations and have good all-round food preparation, leadership skills to carry out this job successfully. Candidates would require City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or SVQ level 3 (catering/professional cookery) and an Intermediate food hygiene certificate essential to the post.
If you have a positive and flexible approach with the above skills and want to be part of the Catering team, then we would like to hear from you. Candidates should have good leadership & communication skills and a self-motivated approach to work and an ability to work on their own initiative. You must be able to work flexible shift pattern, including weekends.
