Job overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated nurse who has experience of working in a community nursing service who would be interested in joining the bank to support the community nursing service when required.

This post  involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in their own home or in a clinic setting offering variety and autonomy in your daily practice.

As a Community Staff Nurse, you will provide holistic nursing care, supporting patients with a range of conditions, including wound care, diabetic management, catheter care, and palliative care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, accessing specialist support as required to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

This bank role will require you to attend Corporate and Bank Induction and up to 1.5 days of face-to-face training (depending on experience)

Main duties of the job

  • Registered Nurse (RN) – Diploma or BSc in Nursing
  • Experience of person-centred care and care planning
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK/EU driving licence and access to a vehicle

Both verbal and written communication skills, and experience of  team working will be essential to the role.  Strong interpersonal skills will also be essential.  You must be an NMC registered, UK based nurse to apply for this role, as it is 'zero-hours' it does not attract visa sponsorship. You must also have at least 6 months acute experience.
