Job overview

We are looking for motivated and adaptable pharmacists to join our Bank team, particularly to support the safe delivery of systemic anti‑cancer therapy (SACT). This element focuses on the clinical screening of SACT prescriptions using the electronic prescribing system, Chemocare, and can be carried out remotely, offering flexibility while contributing to a highly specialist area of practice.

As a Bank Pharmacist, you will provide expert pharmaceutical advice to healthcare professionals and patients, promote safe, evidence-based and cost-effective use of medicines in line with the HDUHB Formulary, and ensure patient-centred care.

Main duties of the job

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered pharmaceutical care
  • Provide expert advice on the safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medicines to prescribers, healthcare professionals, and patients.
  • Support dispensary services, including clinical screening, and ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
