The North London NHS Foundation Trust is transforming its services to meet the Community Transformation Agenda. The transformation of community mental health services aims to break down the barriers to care, by integrating primary and secondary care services and delivering a model that improves access to holistic approaches, for our service users.

Main duties of the job

We have an opportunity for a Band 7 clinical or counselling psychologist to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. The post holder will provide assessment, consultation and interventions where suitable.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The post holder will act as a fully integrated member of the team providing a specialist psychological perspective to support the transformation and development of the service.

The post holder will work with multidisciplinary colleagues to increase psychologically and trauma informed practice as well as offer evidence-based interventions.

We are looking for someone who is keen to embrace the privileges of working in a diverse borough and has experience of working with people with complex mental health difficulties from a range of religious, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We are particularly keen to attract people from our local communities.
