Job overview

We are recruiting a Band 7 Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will provide advanced assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for elective and trauma orthopaedic patients, including early mobilisation, post‑operative progression, and discharge planning. You will work autonomously, using advanced reasoning to manage complex cases and deliver evidence‑based interventions across hip, knee, shoulder, trauma, and spinal pathways.

Candidates must demonstrate confident orthopaedic decision‑making, with significant experience in acute trauma or elective orthopaedics. Strong communication, leadership skills, and effective caseload management are essential, along with the ability to supervise junior staff and support MDT decision‑making. The role offers excellent opportunities for service development and collaborative working with surgical and nursing teams.

Support digital transformation by helping optimise new clinical systems, documentation processes, and outcome monitoring. Maintain patient safety by ensuring robust assessment, early recognition of complications, appropriate escalation, and consistent delivery of high‑quality care.

Why Join Us?
