Band 6 Dietitian in Eating Disorders

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Dietitian who has an interest in working in a Community Adult Disorders Service. This role is a fixed-term 12 month position for maternity cover.

The post holder will provide specialist dietetic input to adults with eating disorders in the community and in Day service. It will involve working with service users and multidisciplinary team members to identify and address the complex psychological and social factors that affect dietary treatment thus enabling long term/ permanent lifestyle changes.

You will be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners in delivery of services.

• Dietetic assessment and collaborative formulation for people under the community eating disorders service.
• Delivery and facilitation of groups within day service.
• To participate in supporting eating within day service.
• Guidance to team members on supporting nutritional goals
• Nutritional education to team members
• Contribution to service evaluation
