Job overview

Working in a friendly  environment you will be responsible for the assessment and planning of care needs for Ophthalmic patients in a clinic   setting.

Previous experience in Ophthalmology would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. In addition to the eye clinic at Barnet  Hospital site, we also have ophthalmic clinics in other hospitals within the foundation trust and you will be expected to work there as needed. Working in a team you will be responsible for assessing patients and preparing them for doctors assessment in clinics as well as working in nurse led clinics e.g. pre-operative assessment, intravitreal injection  and fundus Fluorescein angiography clinics

This post is only available to  Nurses who already have full NMC registration or student nurses awaiting their pin.  Not suitable for nurses requiring OSCE.

Please note earliest start date for this position will be 05/05/2025

This post is part time 34 hours over 4 days
