If you are a dedicated and hard working individual, with an interest in antenatal and newborn care, this may be the perfect role for you! You will work closely with specialist midwives, in ensuring that women and babies receive screening that they are eligible for. The post holder will be required to work cross-site at Royal Free Hospital and Barnet Hospital.
Set working days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9am-5pm.
The post holder will have overall responsibility to provide efficient and effective administration of the 6 national antenatal and new born screening programmes: Newborn Hearing screening, Newborn Bloodspot screening, Newborn Infant Physical Examination, Infectious diseases in pregnancy, Haemoglobinopathies and Fetal Anomaly. They will also maintain an accurate screening database and provide accurate statistical information.
It is essential for the post holder to have excellent experience in using IT/ computer systems. This will be assessed during interview.
The post holder must be able to demonstrate that they know how to use spreadsheets in excel, access databases and NHS medical records.
The post holder will be working with confidential information.
The post holder must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to meet deadlines and work in a multi-disciplinary team.
