Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Bank Front of House Support Receptionist to join our friendly administration team.

Our receptions are open & staffed between 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday. Full and part cover will be considered on a day by day basis.

The post holder will be required to provide cover for reception duties at 3 sites across Swindon, training will be provided at each site

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide ad hoc front of house support services including meeting and greeting service users and visitors, answering telephone calls, and making room bookings for staff.

We are looking for excellent communication and organisational skills together with a confident and pleasant telephone manner. Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure are skills that are vital in this busy role.

Previous experience of working in a reception environment is required; there will be administrative tasks within the role requiring PC skills.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

You will be supported in your role by the Swindon Site Coordinator, and passionate and friendly colleagues both in support services and the wider Facilities Management team.

The Bank Receptionist will provide assistance as required depending on service need. As well as acting as a first point of contact both face to face and over the telephone, the role will include general administrative duties and use of bespoke systems to book rooms for staff members.

A willingness to work at other receptions in Swindon, Sandalwood Court, Victoria centre and Chatsworth house  would be an advantage.

In this role, the post holder will be speaking to service users, healthcare professionals, external agencies, emergency services, members of the public and more.

Training will be provided in respect of the role.
