Applications are invited for the post of Audio Typist/Clerical Officer within the Medicine Directorate at Ninewells Hospital. We are looking for a person who can undertake audio typing and clerical duties. You should have accurate keyboard skills along with excellent communication skills and experience of general office duties. The ability to work within a team environment is essential. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in medical record processing/hospital IT systems is essential.
There are two posts available: one permanent position and one 12 months fixed‑term position. Please indicate in your application which post you wish to be considered for.

Hours of work are: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment.
Current NHS Tayside employees - written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
