Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 24month fixed term contract for an assurance manager and social value lead within our specialist & secured care delivery pathway. This role covers 3 sites across our Bedfordshire footprint- HMP Bedford, HMP Woodhill and Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre

This role is for a dynamic individual who has an eye for detail, has excellent skills in data analytics and an ability to navigate clinical and data gathering systems i.e. systmOne. In addition you will be able to interpret contractual obligations and ensure reporting against KPI and other quality measures.

You will be able to synthesise complex data into meaningful reports for all levels of audience including our board./Commissioners.

You will have the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and manage resources to ensure efficiency and productivity are maximised.

You will lead on social value, gathering information to report our contribution to the local communities we serve and promoting the importance of initiatives to all staff and stakeholders.

You will lead on driving our strategy for health equity within the secured estate reporting into our partnership board with our NHS partners CNWL.

The role has elemets of clinical data  interpretation but you do not need to hold a clinical qualification.

Experience of the NHS , commissioning and contract management is of benefit to the role benefit

Main duties of the job

  • Ensuring all aspects of our contract specifications are met
  • Reviewing and analysing performance reports and quality metrics
  • Managing subcontractor relationships, chairing review meetings and ensuring actions are completed
  • Maintaining the secured services audit schedule, utilising  this data to support heads of healthcare to engage with continuous quality improvement.
  • Support service development and contribute to shaping healthcare that is responsive to the changing needs of the prison/IRC populations
  • Ensuring good governance is adhered to for all secured service developments
  • Managing improvements in clinical practice by utilising data to identify areas for support
