Job overview

Assistant Psychologist in the Adult Community Rehab Team (ACRT) and the Homerton Transitional Neurorehabilitation Unit (HTNRU)

Homerton Healthcare is an innovative NHS Foundation Trust providing a wide range of services to its local community and specialist services on a regional level. Located in the East End of London we are close to the heart of the capital and our local population is culturally diverse. This exciting post will join the thriving and substantial Consultant-led Neuropsychology Service. At Homerton, we have neuropsychology staff working in multidisciplinary teams across the whole neurorehabilitation pathway - from acute services, to Level 1 and Level 2b transitional neurorehabilitation units, and on to community services. Homerton Neuropsychology has a strong holistic ethos and the services we work into have adopted a biopsychosocial formulation led approach.

This exciting assistant psychology post will be split across inpatient (HTNRU – one day a week) and community (ACRT – four days a week) settings and provides an excellent opportunity for a diversity of neuropsychology experiences. There are well established neuropsychology services in both HTNRU and ACRT and this post will enjoy close working with other psychologists and MDT colleagues, weekly supervision from a Clinical Psychologist, and participation in high quality regular neuropsychology CPD sessions.
