Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a broad and challenging role as part of the Facilities team. This is a new position in the facilities team to assist with waste and the pest contract.

The role in tales  undertaking regular waste management audits on all sites, identifying non-compliance with legislation, Trust policy and best practice. Produce action plans to address deficiencies identified and monitor progress against these objectives.

To assist with the facilities manager who is responsible for managing  waste and pest management to undertake cost saving programs like the re-use scheme and research other programs that the trust could do.

The applicant should have excellent communication skills and be able to work with other departments to implement compliant waste disposal & segregation. The applicant would also help in the waste training to the trust and assist in quarterly waste management group meetings with department leaders.
