Job overview

Exciting Opportunity in Clinical Research at ESNEFT!

Are you caring, organised and enthusiastic about developing a career in clinical research? Would you like to be part of an exciting national study shaping the future of newborn care?

We are looking for an Assistant Clinical Research Practitioner to join our Generic Research team at the ESNEFT - Ipswich Hospital Site.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and is keen to gain experience in research delivery within the NHS. The Generation Study is a landmark national project offering whole-genome sequencing to newborn babies at birth - and you could play a key part in its success.

As an Assistant Clinical Research Practitioner, you will work under the supervision of the Study Lead and Research Midwives to support recruitment, data collection and study administration in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Trust policies.

You will help explain the study to families, collect and record study data accurately, and assist with specimen handling and other study tasks (full training will be provided).

Our Region is supported by the East of England Regional Research Delivery Network which is part of the National Institute for Health Research Clinical Research Network which supports research to make patients, and the NHS, better.
