Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a trainee assistant audiologist based at our Southport and Ormskirk sites.

The role involves working independently with adult hearing aid users, maintaining and repairing hearing aids and assisting users with the maintenance and use of their hearing aids. The successful candidate will also perform otoscopy and take ear impressions.

There is a six month structured training programme accredited by the British Society of Audiology for this role and you will be required to attend training workshops in Manchester.
