Part-time - 18.75 hours per week

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Administrator for our Admin Hub, to support the Pathways Centre Team based at Tenison Road, Cambridge. This role would be supporting the front of house, greeting patients, dealing with queries and supporting the wider team.

The successful candidate will be well organised and able to prioritise work. You will be proactive in solving problems and queries and you will see these through to completion. The post holder will need to be calm and patient, with an excellent telephone manner and skills to deal with sometimes complex and difficult issues over the phone.  You will be required to provide front of house reception cover for the team.   You will be supporting a multidisciplinary team and will be involved with arranging appointments, scanning and uploading documentation onto appropriate systems, photocopying, minute taking, ordering stationary and some general administrative work as required.

  • Typing of letters, summaries and reports, if appropriate.
  • Ensuring good customer service by providing a professional and effective service by dealing with queries from service users, carers or staff in person or on the telephone.
  • Take accurate messages and ensure these are passed on to the appropriate people.
  • Organise appointments and transport for clinics as directed.
  • Carry out any office duties, such as dealing with post and photocopying; be responsible for document filing and ensure that the relevant records are organised, accessible and up to date.
  • Monitor and maintain the departments admin stocks.
  • Arrange meetings as and when required.
  • Accurately input data onto the relevant electronic system, in a timely manner in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Deal with staff and service user requests that may be part of a cash office function as and when required, and in accordance with Trust procedures.
