Job overview

To lead and support the mental health recovery and social inclusion agenda to promote positive images of mental health and challenge stigma through the arts. Working closely with other stakeholders to improve health and social care services for the mental health population of Leeds, providing specialist advice, guidance and support related to a specific area of arts and health knowledge and expertise.

Main duties of the job

  • To work closely with staff and clinicians to promote opportunities for arts projects to play a part in the recovery programmes of Trust services.
  • To work closely in partnership with other stakeholders to develop creative opportunities that will improve mental health services for the population of Leeds
  • To work with people using mental health services in Leeds, through involvement consultation and planning, to create project initiatives, and improve opportunities to engage with the arts
  • To provide specialist advice, guidance and support related to the specific area of arts and health knowledge and expertise
