We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our Digital Team. This role is for an highly skilled Cerner (iCLIP Pro) individual who has indepth knowledge of the application and back end functions.

We are looking for an individual with good communication skills and a keen eye for detail.  The post holder will be required to work independently and within a team.

As an organisation, we have just gone live with a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. This is your chance to be part of the digital change, ensuring the safe and effective use of applications.

Main duties of the job

• You will lead a small team of analysts to provide the build and support for applications and clinical systems functionality.  You will support divisional project initiatives with information and advice as required
• You will provide proactive support to Divisions’ and Corporate Directorates’ senior managers, providing them with evidence and advice to support service planning decisions.
• You will work with the Applications and Clinical Systems Technical Support Teams to monitor system performance of the applications, utilisation and to improve performance of the system and the support service; and with the Testing team to ensure the application is tested to be clinically safe and complies with information governance principles.
• You will ensure, advise, design and support the development and use of safe processes for the use of applications within the Applications and Clinical and technical support services.
• You will contribute to and support the development of an application design methodology and capability within the team. including requirements management, design, build, deploy, optimise, and support, undertaking monitored support processes, with incident and problem management.
