This is a part-time position, with working hours to be agreed. Please note the applicant will need to commit to consistent hours.
The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes: Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Orthotists, Prosthetists, Counsellors, Technical Instructors, Administrative staff and Rehabilitation Engineers.
Main duties of the job
The role involves supporting rehabilitation across all services, including:
- Delivering group sessions and one-to-one rehabilitation
- Assisting in clinic settings and home visits
- Working collaboratively within the team while also demonstrating initiative and independence
The role also includes a range of non-clinical duties, such as:
- Stock monitoring and equipment ordering
- Equipment maintenance
- Supporting audits
- General administrative and IT-based tasks
We are looking for someone who:
- Is motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Has strong organisational and communication skills
- Is confident in using IT systems
- Has an interest in rehabilitation and supporting people with physical disabilities
