
The Ultrasound Scanning Team at CUH have a vacancy for Sonographers who are determined to deliver a great patient experience.
We are a busy service with a complex and interesting general ultrasound workload which includes abdominal ,gynaecological, small parts, MSK, head and neck, paediatrics and transplant surgery patients.
You will be involved in training Trainee Sonographers and Radiology Registrars. We are very focused on developing the skills of our workforce so offer in house training in various areas and have supported team members to undertake formal MSK training and complete their Masters qualification and other CPD activities. We have recently established five Band 8a Specialist Advanced Practice Sonographer roles to support specialist services.
We can offer flexible working arrangements and currently offer a recruitment and retention supplement. In order support service delivery in the Community, you will be required to work off the main CUH site (at Ely Community Diagnostic Centre) as part of the rota.
