An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Breast Unit for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner Team to join an established team of Breast Diagnostic ANP's to work across our Chelsea and Sutton site. The successful candidate will work in the Breast Diagnostic clinics as an autonomous practitioner. Also to provide support to patients with in the Open Access Follow up service supporting patients with a wide range of needs such as aspects relating to their breast surveillance and managing their endocrine treatments.

- You will have the skills to independently undertake history taking, breast assessment, diagnosis, treatment assessments and evaluation of care.

- You will demonstrate expert knowledge and understanding of breast cancer and all treatment modalities, benign breast diseases and the importance of effective intervention to promote supported self-management throughout long term follow up .

- To be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and ensuring that the needs of the patient are placed at the centre of care delivery whatever the setting.
- To work autonomously; managing your own clinical caseload and seek support from medical colleagues in the management of complex cases when necessary.
- To work at an advanced practice level, providing a specialist service and level of expertise ensuring that physical and psychological interventions are effective, timely and well documented.
- To demonstrate clinical judgement and critical decision-making skills based upon evidence-based practice, and work collaboratively with consultants and the wider breast team.
- To demonstrate expert knowledge and understanding of breast cancer and all treatment modalities, benign breast diseases and the importance of effective intervention to promote supported self-management throughout long term follow up .
- To demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, being able to deliver expert care with kindness and compassion.
