The Newbury Community Older Adults Mental Health Team is looking for an enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated Memory Clinic Clinical Lead to join our friendly and innovative Community Team.
You will be based at Hillcroft House, West Berkshire Community Hospital where we have access to free parking facilities, a staff room and most importantly a friendly and supportive welcoming team. The service are working flexibly with opportunities to work remotely at times, frequency depending upon service need.
The Newbury Older Adult Mental Health Service is a multi-disciplinary team with specialist skills in caring for older people with mental health needs in the community. The post holder will be a senior practitioner with highly developed clinical skills working with patients in the Older Adults Mental Health Specialism. He/she will be offering high quality memory clinic assessments under the supervision of the service Drs. You will be supporting the smooth running of the service alongside the Memory Clinic Team Lead, offering supervision, education and highly specialist advice to colleagues and other agencies.
The successful candidate must display a passion and understanding for working with Older People, appropriate training and support will be provided as needed. You must be enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated to contribute towards maintaining standards of high-quality care to our patients.
