This is an exciting opportunity for three dynamic clinicians to join our workforce as Advanced Clinical Practitioners to work in our Cancer Services at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care based at the Freeman Hospital. The roles will support either the Breast, Lung or Melanoma/Kidney cancer oncology services, working as an increasingly independent practitioner responsible for patient treatment and holistic patient centred care, in addition to supporting patients receiving Immunotherapy for all tumour sites.

You should already hold a professional qualification (following completion of an advanced practice MSc including non-medical prescribing and clinical skills modules) and have recent experience in oncology.

You will need to be passionate about providing high quality patient care in this exciting and rewarding area.  You will join an innovative team of oncologists, ACPs, pharmacists and specialist nurses, delivering non-surgical oncology treatments in a Tertiary Centre.

You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and be able to prioritise a complex workload. You will take pride in your work, be self-motivated, professional, proactive and personally resilient. In addition, have a flexible approach, good organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail.  You will be passionate as a lifelong, self-directed learner in this rapidly developing and exciting specialty. You will have opportunities to lead service changes to improve performance and patient care.
