The postholder will contribute to the clinical pharmacy service and support delivery of our clinical pharmacy strategy relevant to their area. The role will offer the opportunity to provide your expertise to patients in a variety of settings and there will be a requirement for the post holder to contribute with outpatient clinic delivery.
There will be opportunities for personal and professional development within the role. Links with the school of pharmacy and Newcastle University will present opportunities to be involved in research and education. There is ample opportunity to develop your supervision and management skills in the department. There will be some operational commitments, including weekend working, line management, and we will also look to the postholder to act as a Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP). As a department we are supportive of flexible and part-time working and would welcome a discussion about this with any potential applicants.
