A fantastic opportunity has risen for an Advanced Audiologist to join the Adult Diagnostic service within the Audiology team at the RNENTED Hospitals. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract primarily covering Community ENT, Tele-otology services, and Adult Diagnostic clinics.

As an Advanced Audiologist, you will be providing high-quality audiological care to adult patients with a wide range of complexities. You will be responsible for supporting your manager and ensuring that our service user’ needs are met through the delivery of high -quality care. As a centre of excellence, you will offer a person-centred approach to their independence and well-being.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will manage a highly specialist and complex adult audiology caseload, providing advanced assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation for patients with hearing, balance and tinnitus disorders. You will deliver evidence‑based care in line with national standards, ensuring excellent patient experience and outcomes.

You will take an advanced role within the service, supporting clinical governance, protocol development, staff supervision and training. Working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues across ENT, Audiovestibular Medicine and community services, you will contribute to service development, quality improvement, education and research, while helping to ensure safe, effective and efficient service delivery across community sites.

Audiology and Hearing Therapy Services sit within the Royal National ENT & Eastman Dental Hospitals, a nationally recognised centre of excellence for ENT and audiovestibular medicine.
