Job summary

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the role are to undertake clerical and administrative duties, supporting the provision of an efficient and effective service to the Division of Theatres Reception areas, booking teams, and all service users throughout the Trust.

You will greet patients, take phone calls, deal with queries, signpost or forward calls as required and book appointments. You will also contribute to effective communication links between all members of the Team, and associated Directorates and maintain accurate electronic information systems, with previous experience of Meditech Version 6 being desirable.

Proven all-round administration skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and computer literacy are essential. Excellent organisational skills and time-management are also integral to the role.

You may be expected to work across sites, Trust-wide to support the needs of the Theatres Division.

The hours of this role are shift patterns during core business hours of Monday to Friday 07:00 to 18:00.
