NHS Dumfries and Galloway Staff Bank service provides appropriately skilled and experienced registered nursing staff on a temporary basis to support increased staffing across all our inpatient areas.
We are currently recruiting experienced registered nurses across all fields of Nursing, as we expect demand for our Bank Nursing Staff to increase especially over the winter months. Our Bank Nurses are a vital part of our Nursing workforce and make a real difference every day to our patients

We can offer you a range of work patterns and varying hours on an ‘as and when basis’ to fit with your availability either on a full or part time capacity across a range of shift patterns including day, evening and night shifts including weekends. Using our online and telephone booking options you have the flexibility to book the shifts you want in the wards and units you prefer.
As a Bank Staff Nurse supporting in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality nursing care you will have the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams of nurses, doctors, health care assistants and other health professionals during your bank shifts.
To be part of our Bank Nursing staff you will need to be a registered nurse with a valid live NMC PIN number. We are seeking experienced highly motivated and flexible registered nursing staff that can make a positive contribution to patient care.
