Applications are invited for posts of Clinical Fellow (Core) ST1-3 in Neonatal Medicine . These posts are available to start from the 01 September 2025 until 01 March 2026 in the first instance, with the possibility of extension until the 06 September 2026.
These posts have the opportunity of working in our large tertiary neonatal intensive care unit and for applicants to gain experience in all aspects of neonatal care.
The Neonatal service offers the full range of Neonatal intensive care facilities including neonatal surgery, Neonatal Neurosurgery and Neonatal neurocritical care. There are approximately 6000 deliveries per year. The neonatal unit has 40 cots, 26 intensive and high dependency care and 12 special care cots as well as a further 12 transitional care cots on Charles Wolfson Ward.
The posts offer training and experience identical to those of level 1 Specialty Trainees. You will have the opportunity to join in the wide range of educational and training opportunities within NICU which match those of recognised training posts.
These posts are particularly suited to those wishing to gain experience at tier 1 level in a centre of excellence with more detailed information in the attached Job Description. Successful applicants are encouraged to undertake quality improvement projects.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.
