The overall purpose of the Workforce Planning team is to support NHS Grampian in the development of workforce capability, capacity and commitment, which will enable NHS Grampian to achieve the standards and delivery of care to which it aspires. This role will work across NHS Grampian and the postholder will be expected to work with all grades and disciplines of staff. The postholder is expected to have relevant qualifications and experience which will enable the successful candidate develop into this new role and to support the administration of Consultant and Career Grade eJob Planning and Appraisal and Consultant Discretionary Points processes in NHS Grampian and additional Workforce Projects as and when required.

Key result areas of the post will develop as the postholder becomes established in the role and the postholder has the opportunity to shape the role over time, however, the initial main areas of responsibility and measure of success will be in relation to the following:

You will be required to provide general administrative support,take/transcribe formal minutes, and produce documents and report as required using a number of computer and database packages.

Develop relevant solutions using own initiative, in relation to administration and problem solving within the remit of the projects.

Plan meetings, prepare agendas and follow up agreed actions, ensuring implementation for agreed projects.

There will be a requirement to develop policies and processes in-light of new Project work for example with the introduction of e-job planning, training guidelines and standard operational procedures were required.

The post holder is required to provide training and explanation on the complex processes involved for consultant and career grade ejob planning, consultant and career grade appraisal and consultant Discretionary Points.
