The post holder will have full oversight of the nursing staff rota and be responsible for ensuring erostering standards are maintained effectively. They will ensure all nursing team members receive regular clinical supervision, appraisals, meet CPD requirements, and complete mandatory training, while proactively addressing any development or performance concerns. The role also requires recognising and rewarding positive staff performance, acting as a highly visible role model and leader who promotes a culture of learning, professionalism, and continuous development.
