Job overview

We have an opportunity for a full time permanent housekeeper who will work as an integral part of the staffing team where you will be involved in enhancing the patient experience.

The role would be based at Greenways, which is our learning disability inpatient Assessment and Treatment Unit, based in Macclesfield.

It would be beneficial for the post holder to hold a full clean driving licence. The post is 37.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

The housekeeper should relate to all care disciplines to ensure the provision of a high quality and safe environment for patients.  This would include cleaning, catering, meal service and minor maintenance, stock control and ordering, visits to the cash office to withdraw patient monies, occasional shopping for patient items, together with any other specified tasks as identified by the Unit Management.
