To provide a range of direct or indirect supervised non-clinical support to the professional teams within designated clinical areas. The role will be supportive in keeping the hospital environment, safe, clean and tidy. The provision of a high-quality support service, responding to patient bed discharge/equipment cleaning and or/ urgent patient equipment/specimen/blood transportation. The job holder will work within designated clinical areas providing support to the multi-disciplinary teams. Duties will include answering phones, cleaning equipment, setting up equipment under supervision, ordering maintaining stock levels and any other general clinical duties required. The job holder will meet, and greet patients, family or carers and provide family and carer support where asked to do so.
