We are looking for enthusiastic and committed ward clerk to join our fantastic small team on ward B4.  We are a 16  bedded , geriatric female ward.

The successful candidate should have exceptional organisational skills, interpersonal skills and be able to multitask as our  pace can be fast but job satisfaction is high.

- Coding
- Booking out patient appointments
- Telephone conversations
- Liaising with the multi disciplinary team
- Assisting the nursing team with clerical duties
- Able to navigate electronic computer systems

If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £26.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary.

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- Microsoft Office/Windows

**Desirable**

- Patient administration System
- Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures

### Experience

- Experience of working in an administrative environment
- Experience working ‘face to face’ with the general public as part of a team
