This is an exciting opportunity to recruit a full time Ward Clerk to work within the Children's Clinic at Blackpool Teaching hospital. This post is for a full time, permanent contract working Monday - Friday.  Children's Clinic is part of the Child Health & Development Directorate helping to support acutely unwell children of the surrounding area.

This advert may close early due to popularity - there is no sponsorship for this 15 hour Band 2 role.

### Main duties of the job

- Deliver efficient administrative and clerical services to the Clinic Team.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives, and staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the ward, thereby enhancing patient care.
- Ensure all information is secure, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service, which may involve communicating with distressed and anxious patients and relatives, treating them with tact and empathy.
- Ensure the professional image of the Trust is upheld at all times.
