## Job Content

Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is looking to recruit a Visiting Consultant Psychiatrist to join the CAMHS team. This role is self-employed. Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is one of the UK’s leading mental health and addiction rehab hospitals. We provide world-class residential treatment for a range of mental health conditions, including treatment for depression, as well as drug and alcohol addiction treatment. We also provide outpatient treatment for young people, as well as private CAMHS assessment options and private autism assessments for adults.

### What you'll be doing

- Take clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, strategic reviews and the development of a therapeutic milieu.
- Fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983).
- Supervise the process of referral and admission including contributing to preadmission assessments of young people with other team members.
- Offer a psychiatric perspective to the multidisciplinary team in relation to the assessment, formulation and treatment of adults.

### What you'll bring to the role

**Essential**

- Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team on assessment, formulation, and management plans. You’ll hold and maintain GMC registration, including the relevant Specialist Register. You’ll have a CCST, CCT, or equivalent in your psychiatry specialty and experience working in inpatient settings with people facing significant mental health challenges.
