Working as part of the Women & Children Division, the post holder will provide safe, evidence-based care to pregnant women attending antenatal services, ensuring vaccinations are delivered effectively, compassionately, and in line with national guidelines and Trust policies. The role involves conducting pre-vaccination clinical assessments, reviewing medical histories, identifying contraindications and potential adverse reactions, obtaining informed consent, and preparing vaccines for administration. The post holder will also monitor patients following vaccination, provide reassurance and health advice, and maintain high standards of infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical governance. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating the ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and communicate effectively in sensitive or complex situations.
