This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced clinician to lead the clinical team and continue to deliver a consistent high standard of patient care within the department. The successful applicant should be a registered nurse or paramedic with an excellent level of experience and knowledge of minor illness or injury presentations, from either an urgent care or emergency department background. The applicant should be an independent prescriber and have a good skill set that can contribute to the clinical expertise in the department. The role will involve working closely with the UTC leadership team to progress the department in developing new clinical pathways, agreed projects, and management tasks. ### Main duties of the job As the UTC continues to recruit roles for paramedics and nurses, the CM will also be responsible for leading in the training and mentoring of newer staff. The role will involve working clinical hours in the treatment room to not only support the team, but lead by example. There is an expectation this will also involve working some weekends and supporting the team during busy periods while on management shifts. The successful applicant should have a high degree of ability to work well as part of team, but also autonomously without regular supervision.
