Are you a caring and motivated individual looking to make a difference in a fast-paced clinical environment? We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic Urology Outpatients Department, supporting patients undergoing LATP (Local Anaesthetic Transperineal biopsy) and flexible cystoscopy procedures.

### Main duties of the job

As a key member of our specialist urology team, youll assist with the delivery of safe and high-quality care in a busy outpatient setting. Youll work closely with nurses, consultants, and other professionals to support diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, ensuring patients are treated with dignity and compassion throughout their journey.

- Prepare and maintain clinical environments for LATP and flexible cystoscopy clinics
- Chaperone and assist patients during procedures
- Carry out clinical observations and document vital signs
- Support infection prevention and control practices
- Assist with stock control and clinic equipment preparation
- Provide reassurance and clear information to patients before, during, and after procedures

### Experience

**Essential**

- 2 years minimum experience within an Outpatient setting
- Currently practicing or has practised within Urology outpatients, for a minimum of 6 months, over the last 12-month period.
