Recruiting  x1 Full time Clinical Support Workers to work at the Cumberland Infirmary.

The Urology Service at North Cumbria Integrated Care are expanding and we are looking for  enthusiastic Clinical Support Workers to support in running and leading on the day to day functions of the UIU.

This is an exciting new role within the organisation, with the opportunity to work as part of a team who are keen to develop the service and improve the way we deliver urology care to our patients through the  facilities within the UIU. You will be working under the supervision of the senior clinical nurse specialist team, and there will be ample opportunity to develop skills and progress in a urology nursing career.

### Main duties of the job

The Clinical Support Workers within the Urology Investigations Unit will be responsible for supporting the nursing & consultant team to run the day to day urology outpatient activities efficiently.

The post holder will:

- Be responsible for supporting the delivery of outpatient clinics & treatments such as cystoscopy and TP Biopsies within the Urology department alongside a multi-disciplinary team.
- To support in providing high quality care to Urology patients.
- Be an integral member of the Urology team delivering care within the Urology specialty.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Level 3 vocational qualification or Short courses and completion of competency workbook equivalent to Level 3 in a range of patient and clinical care duties or Equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of clinical care duties equivalent to Level 3;

- Experience of a range of care and related procedures
