The successful candidate will deal with a wide range of primary care presentations in both adults and children using advanced clinical skills to investigate, diagnose and instigate treatment. The definition of Advanced Clinical Practice as stated by Health Education England (2017) is “ delivered by experienced, registered health and care practitioners. It is a level of practice characterised by a high degree of autonomy and complex decision making. This is underpinned by a master’s level award or equivalent that encompasses the four pillars of clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research, with demonstration of core capabilities and area specific clinical competence.” The ACP has a trust-wide responsibility to provide clinical excellence through the four pillars of advanced clinical practice. The clinical practice pillar accounts for a minimum of 80% of their contracted hours of work and they practice with a significant higher level of responsibility and autonomy which is comparable to that of the level of medical staff providing the same level of service ### Main duties of the job ### Main Duties - Clinical Practice  Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex, undifferentiated, and urgent presentations (adults and children).
