### Job summary

This role helps people access safe, timely urgent care by supporting services during evenings and weekends, when help matters most. You'll be part of a welcoming Urgent Treatment Centre team, working alongside clinical and non-clinical colleagues to support patient flow and experience. The role is split across two services and follows a fixed rota, giving you clarity and consistency in your working pattern. Your work will help ensure patients feel supported, informed and cared for during extended opening hours.

### Main duties of the job

What you'll do:

- Support day-to-day activity within an urgent care setting
- Help create a calm, safe and welcoming environment for patients
- Work closely with colleagues to support smooth patient journeys
- Follow agreed processes to maintain quality, safety and confidentiality
- Work a fixed four-week rota including evenings and weekends

- Week 1: Saturday and Sunday, 07:00-18:00
- Week 2: Friday, 18:00-23:00 and Saturday, 11:00-23:00
- Week 3: Friday, 07:00-18:00
- Week 4: Thursday, 07:00-18:00

- A caring, reliable approach with a focus on patient experience
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Confidence following set procedures and routines
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as part of a rota
- We welcome transferable skills and provide training and support

## Person Specification

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- Knowledge of a range of reception and administration procedures.
- Standard IT skills including basic knowledge of Microsoft programmes.

**Desirable**

- Knowledge of stock rotation and control procedures

### Experience

**Essential**

- Previous experience working with the general public

**Desirable**

- Previous driving experience

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Word processing to OCR level 2 standard International Computer Driving License (ICDL) or able to demonstrate high level of keyboard skills and knowledge
- Current Full Driving Licence
- Basic Life Support training or willingness to undertake
