Applicants should demonstrate a high level of clinical experience and competence in General Radiology.  Development of subspecialty areas of interest in addition to core skills is encouraged and the successful candidate is expected to participate in the development of Radiology services. The Radiology Departments are actively involved in teaching with four radiology trainees on rotation from HEKSS deanery. Audit and other continuing professional developmental activities are positively encouraged. This post will be offered on the Terms and Conditions in line with national pay scales. Please refer to the job description attached. ## Person Specification ### Teaching **Essential** - Enthusiasm for teaching medical students, nursing staff and other professional groups **Desirable** - Educational qualification ### Training and experience **Essential** - Wide experience of all aspects of radiology including multislice CT and MRI **Desirable** - Fellowship in a specialist area of Radiology. - To demonstrate expert practice in the field of Breast Imaging, including reporting of mammograms, undertaking and reporting of breast ultrasound images, performing stereotactic and other breast biopsies, as well as fine needle aspiration of breast tissue and guided localisation procedures.
