The post will be based in stroke medicine, supporting ward rounds on the stroke unit and acute thrombolysis sessions and sessions in the TIA clinic. On call commitments will be supporting the middle grade acute medicine on call rota. Full details on the on call rota can be provided on request,  it includes a 1 in 23 participation in the rota. If candidates are wishing to pursue a joint Stroke plus another speciality post please apply. ### Main duties of the job Support for Hyper Acute Stroke, Acute Stroke and Rehabilitation wards, to support consultant led ward rounds. Support for acute thrombolysis supported by specialist nursing team and stroke consultant TIA clinics.                                                                                      Frequency of each to be determined by service need following negotiation with successful applicant ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities The post holders will work within the Stroke medicine specialty. The trust encourages staff to work as a team with other colleagues and take full part in the work. Participation in the on-call rota is negotiable.
