This post will be available from 4/8/26. This is for a period of 6 months. This post will deliver 40 hours supporting the Neurology team. The post-holder will provide support to the Neurology department. There will be opportunities to contribute to the on call rota. The post will be based at the Leeds General Infirmary Applicants should have established skills in general neurology and stroke. Excellent communication and team working skills, a strong commitment to teaching and service development are essential. The on call pattern involves day working and non resident night shifts supported by an onsite Medical Registrar and on call neurology consultant. The applicant is expected to rotate through fixed blocks of acute neurology, ward cover, acute neurology clinics and other sub speciality clinics. They are encouraged to attend neuroradiology and weekly regional academic meetings and present interesting cases for discussion, including monthly CPC. What you will bring to the role The successful applicant should possess MRCP (or equivalent) and should be able to manage acute medical and common neurological emergencies.
