### Job overview

Barts Health NHS Trust provides local and specialist care across east London and beyond. Our WeCare values guide how we treat patients and work with colleagues.

We are seeking a clinical fellow to join our rheumatology service for a ten-month fixed-term post. You will assess and manage adults with rheumatic disease through supervised outpatient clinics and inpatient and external referrals, with support from a consultant supervisor.

You will work alongside consultants, specialty registrars, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team. The Trust-wide service offers exposure to general rheumatology and specialist interests including early inflammatory arthritis, lupus and vasculitis.

The provisional week includes two supervised consultant clinics, ward referrals, a sub-specialuty clinic, radiology and postgraduate meetings, and scheduled audit and administration time. You will document and communicate clear plans, review results, escalate urgent concerns and contribute to safe treatment and monitoring. The agreed rota may include evening and weekend morning cover.
