This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in ultrasound to receive structured, comprehensive training. Preferably, you will be an HCPC- or NMC-registered healthcare professional with a background in Imaging (Radiography) or Midwifery. We are also seeking candidates with a strong science background, including completion of science subjects (ideally Physics) at GCSE and A level (or equivalent). Practical training will be delivered by the Obstetric Ultrasound Department and will cover both Gynaecological and Obstetric ultrasound modules. You will also be required to register with an academic institution to undertake a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Ultrasound, focusing on gynaecological and obstetric modules. Training will take place across two hospital sites: Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital. Please note that this is a Band 7 Annex 21 post, paid at 75% of the Band 7 salary. As part of your development, you will engage with academic learning through a university-accredited Postgraduate Certificate, balancing clinical competencies with academic assignments and assessments.
