We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate clinician to join our Emergency Gynaecology team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust as a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP). The successful candidate will primarily focus on the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit and the Emergency Gynaecology Assessment service. Our Emergency Gynaecology service cares for women with a wide range of acute and early pregnancy conditions. No two days are the same, and you’ll play an important role in delivering safe, kind and responsive care to patients when they need it most. As a trainee ACP, you’ll be supported through both academic study and clinical practice to develop the skills needed for advanced practice. You should: - Be a registered healthcare professional (for example nurse, midwife or allied health professional) - Have significant post-registration clinical experience in gynaecology - Be able to work well within a team and communicate confidently with patients and colleagues - Have an interest in women’s health, emergency care and advanced clinical practice - Be willing to undertake or already be undertaking ACP training at Master’s level We’d really encourage informal conversations or visits if you’d like to find out more about the role and the team before applying.
