This Band 8A role provides a unique opportunity to influence the quality, safety and effectiveness of care delivered by third party ambulance providers across the NWAS footprint. Working closely with internal clinical leaders, operational colleagues and external providers, the post holder will support the delivery of high-quality urgent and emergency care through strong clinical leadership, robust assurance and a clear focus on patient safety. ### Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be an HCPC registered Paramedic with significant experience of leading clinical teams, implementing clinical governance arrangements and improving services through the use of performance data, audit and quality improvement. They will provide expert clinical advice, oversee provider compliance with NWAS standards, support learning from incidents and help develop a culture of openness, inclusion and continuous improvement across private ambulance providers.
